Meet Ashley Stockdale
(Owner)
My name is Ashley Stockdale and have been working with children and families since I can remember. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a bachelor in Elementary Education. I love being able to play a role in helping both the parents and the children. Through my work experiences, I saw that I could help children more by working alongside the family.
Right out of college I became a nanny and fell in love with my career choice. Working with parents and children in their homes is so natural for me. I loved spending time with children all day long and helping parents be able to spend premium time with their children when they get home. I was energized and excited about my daily work. After working with some amazing families, I have a desire to reach out. Exclusive Nanny Group was created so I can share my dedication to improving the lives of children and my passion for promoting strong families in the Chicago area.
Now that I am a mother, I am able to understand parenting and nannying on a different level. With this new perspective, I can put myself in each unique situation and make the best matches. I know personally now that leaving your child(ren) with a caregiver is not easy. I enjoy easing this difficult process and taking the worry out of childcare. I am truly passionate in building new relationships, providing continuous support and working as a team with each family that I work for.
The biggest career lesson I’ve learned is that the single most important factor in my ability to be happy and successful at work is the cultural and values of the firm that I work for. With many very long term relationships with clients who are now friends, I feel protective of the trust that they have in me. ENG’s culture is based on a strong commitment to their core values – my favorite being “Do what is right always”. I am excited to introduce people to ENG and feel confident knowing we will follow through on our commitments.
In my role as a placement agent, I am lucky to be able to work with and meet smart, interesting people every day. I love sitting down with someone and learning about who they are and what they care about. I thrive on building relationships and feeling like I’m helping my clients be successful. My best days include conversations where I am getting to know someone better, learning about their goals and helping by connecting them with a great family or nanny in the ENG network.
